Story Time

So fun to watch them develop a relationship.  She has loved him from the moment his impending arrival was announced in our house.  She is beyond proud to be a big sister and loves to demonstrate to anyone her knowledge of baby care.
As Henry has become more expressive and interactive she has started to have some insecurities.  She will now run to be in my arms especially if I'm interacting with Henry.  She wants to lay her head on my arms when I'm nursing.  She has asked that I feed her with a spoon like Henry does.  All normal stuff that she will work through in time.

Methow

We made it to the Methow again this year with the Corvalis Crew.  Both of our families have grown by one making our group an impressive party of nine.  It is quite the sight when we all hit the trails together.

It is a combination of baby carriers, trailers on skis, kids on skis, happy kids, freakin' out exhausted kids and sometimes all of the above at the same time.  It is awesome.

Henry and Felix were able to have some serious quality time.  Felix, just six weeks older then Henry, is up and crawling.  Henry gets a bit intimidated at times.

 

 

 There was again a love fest between Elizabeth and Lucia although this time Oscar was really able to join in the fun.

 It ended up being far more enjoyable to watch the Dads sled.

 Annual trip for sure!!!  Now to figure out how to buy a cabin in the Methow??

Busy Times

Life is busy.  Fun and busy.  Doesn't leave a lot of time for blog posts or even picture taking.  I do want to keep recording our happenings as all these posts eventually feed into our yearly photo book.  I don't want to forget these moments of busy fun.

 We have had a lot of visitors in the past two months.  Our friend Ann, Kyle and Sylvan came and stayed with us.  We managed one photo of the girls in the bath together.  So sweet.

Aunt Virginia has been in and out frequently as a local hospital is a client of hers for now.  We are hoping this creates more clients in the area!

 Henry is still cute and growing.

 MiMi and PopPop came for a visit.  Elizabeth got to have a whole day outing with her grandparents which include a bus ride downtown.  She still talks about her grown up day away from mom.  So sweet for her time have that special time.

 We had two weeks in January with no rain!  Crazy gorgeous fun.  Managed a few days of skiing and Elizabeth is taking off (of course no photos).  Henry rides along in the ergo and just naps.

 Henry is still cute and growing.
